Comparative Experience of Wealth Tax in OECD Countries

Our lawyer, Santiago Aninat, published in Volume 12 of the Tax Law Journal of the University of Concepción the commentary titled “Comparative Experience of Wealth Tax in OECD Countries.” In this commentary, the author analyzes the main reasons that explain why the wealth tax is in retreat in the OECD member countries.

Analyzes the effects of wealth taxation in OECD countries, their effects on the economy and tax collection. It concludes by analyzing the comparative experiences in Spain and France, a country that replaces the tax analyzed by a wealth tax limited to real estate assets.
