Rodrigo Cuchacovich Aresti

Rodrigo is partner at MICP Legal and has vast experience advising clients in all kinds of industries and in a wide range of legal aspects, leading our corporate law and litigation and arbitration practices.

He has extensive experience in civil, commercial, corporate, administrative litigation and arbitration, consumer protection law, among others. On several occasions he has served as arbitrator judge.  

In the area of corporate law, he is particularly noted for his ability to design creative and efficient corporate structures for the implementation and/or restructuring of all types of businesses, as well as in corporate governance matters for for-profit and not-for-profit legal entities.

Rodrigo also has extensive experience in the purchase and sale of companies, as well as advising real estate projects throughout their development cycle, entrepreneurship projects, technology-based companies and family offices. 

He has been a professor of Civil Law at the Universidad Católica de Chile since 2003 to date.

Luis Fernando Mackenna Dörr

Rodrigo Marré Grez

Rodrigo is a partner at MICP Legal and has 30 years of experience advising companies in different areas of the industry, in commercial, corporate and regulatory matters.

Rodrigo also leads our practices of intellectual property and technology transfer, patents, life sciences, regulatory and aviation/logistics law.

In this context, he highlights for his in-depth knowledge of patents and complex patent and trademark litigation in the life science, agrochemical and other industries, being consistently ranked by prestigious international publications as one of the leaders in the field, both nationally and internationally. In 2023 Rodrigo has been recognized by WWL as one of the 3 recommended lawyers in Chile for patent litigation in Life Science.

Rodrigo is regularly invited as a panelist to national and international congresses and has several publications related to his areas of expertise.

Matías Silva Chaparro

His practice has focused mainly on advising on corporate, real estate and tax matters. 

In corporate matters, he has more than 10 years of experience in providing direct advice to the boards of directors of companies in a wide range of industries. 

With respect to real estate law, he has extensive experience in advising on various real estate projects, from their inception to the commercialization of the units. 

His knowledge in tax law has allowed him to complement his corporate and real estate advisory services, to design and implement corporate reorganizations and to perform local tax consultancies.
